Is there color and black & white printing available in the Georgetown University Law Center Library for Georgetown Law students to use?
If so, where are the printers in the Law Library for Georgetown Law students to use?
Answer
Yes, there are printers that can print in color and grayscale housed inside the Law Library. Please use the Law Library maps to locate the printers in the building. Check for the Printer/Copier symbol on the maps.
Of the printers found in the Law Library, there are two that can print in color. One in the Oakley Reading Room Business Lounge and another on the 4th floor in Room 425. To make a color print, be sure you visit a color printer after submitting your print job.
Georgetown Law students are allowed to use the Copy Center in the Law Center McDonough Hall 475. However, that service is only available during the center's business hours.
In case the machines located in the Law Library are not operating, Capitol Campus Information Systems Technology (IST) lists the Available Cloud Printers on campus. The list can be filtered by "Public (student use) Yes" to identify the machines accessible to Georgetown University students. Color printer models usually start with the letter "C" on the list. On the list, all "EBW Library" printers would only be accessible by Georgetown Law students.
For questions about printing, please contact University Information Service (UIS) at help@georgetown.edu or IST at caphelp@georgetown.edu. UIS facilitates the printing services for the entire university, including the machines found in the Law Library. The most commonly asked questions about printing may be found in the "How can I print using the Capitol Campus printers, including the ones inside the Law Library?" FAQ. Check the related "Are there scanners for Georgetown University Law Centers students to use in the Law Library?" FAQ.
Non-law Georgetown University or Capitol Campus members may use the printers located on IST's Available Cloud Printers list as Capitol Campus "125 E St.," Capitol Campus "500 1st," Law Center "McDonough Hall," Law Center "Gewirz" and "Hotung" International Law Building.
