How do I find electronic or online copies of a journal or newspaper?

Answer

If you want to search through a range of published issues of a specific journal or newspaper publication, then we recommend that you search for the journal or newspaper title through our Journal Finder. The search results include journal or newspaper titles where the Law Library carries them in print format or microform (helpful when there are no digital versions available).

For a known article piece that appeared in a journal or newspaper, you can try searching for an electronic copy by the article title through a "Articles" limiter search on the Law Library's catalog. If you have citation information for the article piece, then try searching through the Search by Citation function.

If you want to conduct a search for a topic across multiple journal publications, the Law Library offers numerous databases which include electronic full texts.

Please consult the Articles for Legal and Non-Legal Research guide or News Research guide, or contact the Reference Desk, if you need help.
