Can Georgetown University Law Center students take final examinations in the Law Library?

Answer

Yes, Georgetown Law Students may take final exams while in the Law Library.

Capitol Campus Information Systems Technology (IST) loads the exam software on the Computer Learning Center (CLC) computers which are available on a first come, first served basis.

The Study Rooms Booking System will continue to operate as usual during finals if you intend to use your own laptop to take an exam. Thus, group study rooms may be booked one week in advance for up to three hours maximum, Zoom rooms may be booked two days in advance for up to three hours maximum and the reservable study carrels on the fourth floor can be booked one week in advance for up to eight hours maximum. We anticipate that students who want a guaranteed study space for the duration of an exam will sign up for these.

All other carrels will remain available on a first come, first served basis. The Group Study Rooms located within the 1st Floor Collaborative Space (111, 122A, and 123) will also remain available on a first-come, first-served basis for Georgetown Law Students.
