How can Georgetown University Law Center students reserve a Law Library research shelf?

Answer

The library has a limited number of research shelves that can be assigned to Georgetown Law students for the duration of one semester. The shelves are located on 3rd Floor West, 4th Floor West and 5th Floor West. More information will be found on the Study Carrels & Research Shelves web page. Georgetown Law students should visit the Circulation Desk in person to apply for one. Application period starts the first Monday after Labor Day every fall and applications are processed on a first come, first served basis.

Carrels located near the assignable research shelves that are on the 4th Floor West may be reserved from one to eight hours through the Law Library's Study Space Booking System. For related information, check the "How can Georgetown Law members reserve a Law Library carrel" FAQ.
