Q. During Fall 2021, is there reserved or assigned seating?
Similar to most normal semesters, there is no reserved seating in the library. There are carrels and research shelves that can be reserved by upper class or graduate students who have special research and writing needs. The library has group study rooms that can be reserved for a period of three hours per groups of two or more students and single user Zoom rooms. Though not reservable, the library has, on a trial basis, set aside space on the first floor for Open Collaboration and break out rooms. Our New Student guide provides suggestions for places in the library to study and a new Noise Zone web page explains our noise policies.
