Can I film or videorecord while inside the Law Library?
Answer
Occasionally, the Law Library receives requests for filming on the premises. While any activity that has the potential of disrupting the library's primary purpose of facilitating study, research, and academic work is discouraged, we can grant some exceptions depending on the purpose of use, the time of year, the noise level, and other factors that will help us gauge the impact on our users.
If you would like to request such an exception, please contact both Georgetown Law Communications (mediarelations@georgetown.edu or 202-662-4199) as well as Law Library Administration (specifically the Law Library Director) and they will review your request. Approval from both offices is necessary for any clearance.
