Does the Law Library have a self check-out system that Georgetown Law students can use?
Answer
Yes, the Law Library does have a self checkout service which is a way for Georgetown Law students to check out circulating books when the Circulation Desk is closed. Bring the book to the self-checkout kiosk located in the atrium across from the Reference Desk. Please watch the tutorial video for using the self-checkout kiosk prior to using the system.
The self checkout service will not allow Reference and other non-circulating stacks materials to circulate. If you wish to check out a DVD, you will still have to bring the DVD in its security case to the Circulation Desk to have the case removed.
Please contact the Circulation Desk at 202-662-9131 or lawcirc@georgetown.edu with any questions.
