How do I cite sources in APA format?

Answer

For the Georgetown Law student: Feel free to contact the Law Library Reference Desk and ask for assistance. You may also want to see Georgetown University Library's FAQs and tutorial. The Law Library does carry some style manuals other than the Bluebook, including the APA Style Manual, Chicago Style Manual and the MLA Handbook (see also MLA Style Center)

For the Georgetown non-law student: Since we are a law school, our law students and faculty primarily resort to The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation over citation styles used by other disciplines (e.g. MLA, APA). For questions about APA (American Psychological Association) and other publishers' citation styles, please see Georgetown University Library's FAQs and tutorial on the subject, or contact that library's reference department.
