Where can Georgetown University Law Center students find the Law Library's collection of state statutes?
Answer
The Law Library print state statutes are housed on the first floor (filed in the "State Collection" area on the map). In the Law Library catalog, these items' location is labeled as "State 1st Floor." Please check the Law Library catalog to identify when the last time the print state statutes of interest were updated.
The Law Library's individual state legal research guides will link to potential sources for print statutes that we do not currently update. The research guides will also point to digital versions of state statutes that are accessible through the Law Library databases, or free web sources accessible by anyone. Also included in the states guides is information on finding other state primary resources such regulations and cases, and secondary sources.
