How do Georgetown Law members report Law Library database problems. I am having trouble accessing a database. What should I do?

Answer

If Georgetown Law faculty, staff and students cannot access the Law Library electronic or online databases, or experience a "usage limit exceeded" message while trying to download files from a database, please follow the steps on the Troubleshooting Database Connections Problem web page. This page contains helpful information especially for Georgetown Law members who are experiencing difficulties outside of the Law Library Reference Desk service hours. There is a Database & Electronic Resource Problem Reporting Form on the Troubleshooting webpage if the suggestions do not work.

Non-law Georgetown or Capitol Campus members receive their off-campus or remote database access through their home libraries, either Lauinger Library or Dahlgren Memorial (Medical) Library (DML), and should contact either Lauinger Library Help Desk at 202-687-7607, accessservices@georgetown.edu or DML Information Services Desk at 202-687-1448, dmlcirculaton@georgetown.edu to receive assistance. The Law Library is unable able to assist non-law Georgetown members with issues accessing remotely the university databases.
