Does the Law Library have standalone computers? Can Georgetown University Law Center students borrow a laptop?

Answer

The locations of Windows-based desktop computers that include Microsoft Office, web browsers, and other applications will be found on the Law Library Maps, represented by a computer icon. The computers cannot be moved nor reserved. For policies and questions about the use and maintenance of computers found in the Law Library building, please reach out to Capitol Campus Information Systems Technology (IST) at caphelp@georgetown.edu.

The Law Library does not carry laptops that can be borrowed, but Capitol Campus IST Service Desk offers a laptop loan service. Please contact the Service Desk in Law Center McDonough Hall Room 152, at 202-662-9284, or at lawhelp@georgetown.edu.

Non-law Georgetown University Capitol Campus members may ask for technology support from the same Capitol Campus IST Service Desk.
