Where can I find the print version of the U.S. Code?

Answer

In general, print U.S. primary sources, like the U.S. Code, are housed in the Reading Room. Specifically, the U.S. Code is shelved in the northwest corner of the Reading Room, area 3 on the Reading Room map. Please refer to our U.S. Primary Sources and Topical Reporters research guide which links primary legal publications to their specific locations in the Reading Room. The guide also links to the access points for the digital versions. If you need more help with primary materials, please seek help from the Reference Desk.
