Where can I find the Law Library's collection of state statutes?

Answer

Our print state statutes are housed on our first floor (see "State Collection" on our map). In our catalog, these items' location is labeled as State 1st Floor. We currently update the following state statutes in print: District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia, California, Delaware, Louisiana, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Texas.

Please see our individual state legal research guides to determine other potential sources for print statutes that we do not currently update. The research guides will also point to digital versions of state statutes that are accessible through our databases, or free web sources accessible by anyone. Also included in the states guides is information on finding other state primary resources such regulations and cases, and secondary sources.
